Arrow Homage to Jorn Utzon

This is an homage to a pioneer in architecture who left us breathless for more.
According to the New York Times he left us at a ripe age of 90. Have you given up yet about who and what this celebrated architect and designer has given the world? It was the Sydney Opera House, and it was built by none other than Jorn Utzon. , a Pritzker Prize winner, the highest honor in architecture.
Well, even though it is Australia's most prized possession, I think he designed it with a worldly appeal for the whole world of architecture to enjoy, admire, and learn from as if it were a puzzle. A native of Denmark, his inspiration to build this landmark as well as churches, private homes, and many other signature buildings, his inspiration to build the Opera House came from the orange, or the segments of orange once you have peeled one open.
Thank you Mr. Utzon for giving us the inspiration throughout the years to leave a lasting legacy not just on a magnificent city, but on the whole world of architecture. A post mortem kudos to a marveloous architect ahead of his time. God bles you, teacher and artist!

World-renowned architect Louis Kahn has remarked: "The sun did not know how beautiful its light was until it was reflected off this building!"
