This is great news! I loved that design. It's my favorite among proposed structures in Denver. It looks so classic. If this gets built, I'm almost sorry that 1401 lawrence and the 4 seasons will obstruct the view of this building from the Speer (not too sorry though )

Yes it indeed is classic, but has it's modern attributes as well. For me, the 777 Tower in Los Angeles comes to mind.

I sense an additional 600'/650' Office Tower in the works boys! Hell I'd say if And this is a mighty big IF, both hines and T-2 and everything proposed along 14th goes up? in the next 5 years? Well hell by then I am almost positive we will have an announcment for something in the 70-80 Story range that will be tinkering with the 1000' Mark. A new SIG people it would work if the Skyline was streached with 5 new 500'+/600'+ new towers on the West side of the City!

I'm fairly certain they mean 42 stories total....and in that 42 stories is 13 levels of parking. They didn't say it was on top of......and if you look at the old rendering there is a large square base of around 10 stories. Still...I agree with everyone else. I hope they don't make any/many changes to it. It will/could be iconic.

The old design is perfect, yet it's simple enough to not increase cost too much. it would save them money, to simply dust off the old plans and go from where they left off. Either way, I'm sure they will come up with something good.

Hmm, this would definately be a great addition to the skyline. I hope that this project moves forward.

The base of the tower is not very attractive. I hope that whatever design will address that.

Why in the hell does it need 13 stories of parking? No other tower comes even close to that?

Wouldn't it share the block with Four Seasons, which may have future expansion of its own?

I for one kind of like the more simple design of Hines (as opposed to One Lincoln Park -- which I love, don't get me wrong). It's just looks like it fits in with the rest of Denver architecture, but not quite as 80s looking.

If the Hines project moves forward, I wouldn't doubt if it was revised somewhat. Just like Tabor 2, which looks dramatically different from its original design.
