Thanks for updating this thread guys. Here are a few pics I took today of workers putting up concrete barriers and fencing.

A little more information about the development...(33 floors if you count mechanical)...

Location in relation to the skyline....

The location in the SoBro area (South of Broadway)...

The actual height...(345 ft)

Orientation on the lot...

Demolition of existing structures has begun in earnest.

So what is the status of construction right now? Have they begun building anything yet or are they still digging?

Still digging.

Can the title be edited to 33 floors and 345'?

Thanks for posting those elevations. I went ahead and updated the thread title with those heights.

I put 32 floors because mechanical floors aren't typically counted in the floor count since they aren't publicly occupied spaces or rentable floors.

Tower crane is being erected today and tomorrow. It potentially could take a bit longer with the rain but should be up by week's end.

Good to hear.

Has any other foundation work been taking place other than excavation?

None yet, but I do know the permit for the foundation was pulled a week or so ago.

Another photo of the tower crane, courtesy of Smeagolsfree over on Urban Planet.

This one is close to being under construction.
