Very nice photos. The skyline stretches quite a distance... that Stone Mountain is very interesting too.

Next time you're on that vantage point above Vinings, see if you can swing around and get some shots of Cumberland, the Perimeter area, and points in between!

I love shots that get the entire skyline from a few miles out. I suspect that as Vinings, Smyrna, and South Cobb grow even more, the demand for condo towers featuring those views will sky rocket. Just amazing. One thing I love about Atlanta that is rarely seen elsewhere is just how glitzy and glamorous everything looks. I can't think of any other words to describe it. We really are lucky to have such amazing architecture and such beautiful terrain.

Beautiful scenery, I really need to visit Atlanta again.

I have a question for you locals

I love the dense tree covering, but I'm curious as to how it looks in the fall. I've only been to Atlanta in the winter, and summer so I didn't get a chance to see how it looks in the fall. Is the colors as vivid as New England? I really like to see photos, and no one here has ever posted any.

The fall colors vary a bit from year to year, largely depending on how much rain we've had, but it's usually quite beautiful---lots of reds, oranges, and golds.

Atlanta looks perfect in your photos. I'm looking forward to a trip there next month.

North Georgia does have nice fall colors, also. Some of the hilly rural areas north of Atlanta are especially scenic.
