K,

Wow, I love this city and the extraordinary amount of coffee shops.

I just discovered "Blenz" and their free internet.

I will see you guys on Friday. PM me and I will give you my cell number!

^Starbucks are usually found within two blocks or less with each other. On the corner of Robson, two starbucks =)

I think the average opening of Starbucks in the GVRD is one per day, at least from what I recall from Global News.

Can you guys take some pics and post online about this meetup? I'm kind of curious =)

Damn, 8pm is a little late for me (because i've got plans, not because I'm an old man).

I'll probably be out on a patio somewhere downtown for a few beers around 4 or 5 on friday if anyone's interested...

New to Vancouver also

Hey everyone. I too, have just moved to Vancouver recently from Alberta (Calgary, to be exact), although my Internet and cable got installed within a week, with Shaw Up until yesterday, however, I was at Waves or Blenz almost daily with my laptop.
Anyway, I'd love to attend tonight's meetup but I just saw this posting today and I'm busy. But I just want to say that even though it's been a little hot (not as hot as Calgary, though), I'm totally loving Vancouver after living here for just 2 weeks. There's so much to see and do and the vibrancy is unlike anything I'd usually see in Calgary. Plus I got a decent apartment with decent rent in a decent area and even has a view of downtown. No ocean view but I'll take what I can get...
So yeah, Vancouver rules!

I'm not feeling that well right now.
Sorry for the late notice, but I'll have to pass.

Welcome to Vancouver Hed Kandi. Sorry I missed the meet-up this evening. I've been swamped with work and I took a week off of SSP to help keep me focused. I hope it was a good time and you sure picked an amazing week to make the official move. Once again, welcome.

Well, it was great to meet those of you that I could, too bad the evening got cut off. Believe me though, I met up with a friend of mine and we had a good time. Though that's easy to do, with her!

No, a stripper girl I met a long time ago was in town and wanted to hang out, not sure of her nationality, I've never asked her. Anyways it was good to catch up!
