Why does it look so crooked? Those of you in the know, please enlighten me...as I find this building looks squared off with the intersection and whatnot at street level, but from other photo's, the tower portion looks like it's on an angle...am I just seeing things?

I think it is on an angle. I like it that way. It will change things up on the skyline from all buildings walls facing another wall.

This seems like it is taking a while to really shoot up. Anybody else think that? When I was there last August, it really wasnt too much shorter than it is now.

I'm digging the pano feature caltrane. I really love the cladding on this one. You will definitely recognize this one once it's done, a part from the fact it's 78 stories.

they just finished the setback for the lower portion of the tower. this should really shoot up now that its onto the main tower part!

I think you are correct...this should begin going up faster when the transition from that setback is finished...
