That game killed me. The tying goal.. OK, a road result was all I was hoping for but the second goal with 3 minutes left.. UGH!

I've never liked baseball, I'm sorry I just can't get into it. Not a big fan of basketball either.

MTL VS D.C. tomorrow.

Watching baseball is like watching a war: long periods of absolute nothing, brief burst of action, more nothing. Some games are exciting, not many.

Basketball should really do something about the 50 timeouts per game. It can take a half an hour to play the last 2 minutes!

I enjoy playing baseball (from time to time), the rest is a different story.

I remember playing baseball when I was a kid with my uncle, and the ball hit me on my stomach. Then when I was in elementary school I was playing soccer while other kids were playing baseball not too far away; I got hit on my ear. I guess baseball and I don't match

it's great how it's so much less euro-y though, and how your baseball buddies will never want to go to med or whatever afterwards.

0-0 MTL-DCU at the half. Montreal is playing like crap. The only good player was Nyassi.

MTL 1 - 1 DC

Not bad, but it appears very difficult for Montréal to keep the lead. They always score first, only to give up the lead later in the game.

I watched the game for a while and I'd be surprised if there was more than 5,000 people in that stadium.

Montreal games are rarely on TV here..

Whitecaps is on Sportsnet Pacific. Will flip between that and the hockey game.

Another late goal! We could easily have double the points we have now if we could only defend in the late stages. Happy with the first road point though. 7/10 first games on the road, can't wait to get into Saputo!

Allez Impact!

I think that's koolspeak for wherever he imagines that (in his koolmind, Euro wannabe) Impact fans go before and after a game.

Because as we all know, only Euro wannabes follow soccer. (It's not Camerican)

This is the chic Euro gastropub where Impact fans congregate before and after games. It's located on the Champs Élysées of HOMA: Hochelaga, and offers Euro Molson Dry by the pitcher or at .99 a Euro glass. They only (reluctantly) accept Canadian currency, no cards.

You never go, you'll never know. But it's fun to have an opinion.

I think Toronto needs to invent a sport in which only they compete. I don't hate the Argos, Jays, Raptors, or TFC, so I do feel bad for Toronto sports fans.

I guess the Rock are good.

The potential IS there. It's just a matter of getting their shit together and changing strategies when having the lead.

Hey that actually looks like a cool place! I wouldn't mind having a beer there and meeting some old school québécois.

I'm glad we have the 4th seed in the 2012 Canadian Championship so we play vs Toronto and not Vancouver.

Not saying it will be easy but Vancouver (2nd seed) should be able to beat FC Edmonton (3rd seed).
