Theres also 3 small spandrel panels hiding the floor plate running horizontally between the balconies.

Just looking at the elevations from the application, the NE side looks like it may have spandrel panels running up the height of the building between some of the full height windows. Also a band of spandrel is around the very top of the building.

I'm really liking the fins, they must be metal. Once this is complete (maybe even before) I wonder how long until some idiot posts of video of himself climbing up those fins and balconies.

Arrow "the beast ($$$$$$) is out of its cage; these will be bloody times"

Nice smart building, right size for the location, and a great replacement for the cement shoebox from before !! But heyyyyyy !! What a $/sq.ft price shock over the last year!

At only 26 floors and a condo, this will be a pretty tiny building.

Not big, true. But not just 10 or 11 floors, either, and BTW .... have you ever seen what it is replacing?

Demolition is complete and the site is fenced off and waiting for the next contractor.

yeah, this is way worse than those honeycomb shades at the Helmcken and Richards condo, 8X.

Yup, no complaints in that regards that's for sure! Although I have to add that the building they knocked down would still be considered a good solid concrete gem on any of the Vancouver suburb neighbourhoods like Kingsway or Fraser.

Hearing that this building is mostly sold out now (or about 90%), just a few of the "estate" units left.

Impressive, given what prices the luxury units are selling at these days.

Might be hard to finalize sales with the new 15% tax in place for foreign buyers, but the location is good so I think it should not take long to sell out.

The launch took place a couple of weeks after the 15% tax took effect, so it was either locals buying and/or foreigners that don't care about the tax...but probably mostly locals.

And yet, less than two weeks after the Cardero launch, Bosa had pre-sold all of its one-bedroom (443 sq. ft., $600,000-$700,000) one-bedroom plus den (682 sq. ft., $730,000-$840,000) and 718 sq. ft. two-bedroom units. Just the larger two-bedroom and three-bedroom units remain, measuring between 1,389 sq. ft. and 1,545 sq. ft. in size, with starting prices for the largest of these hitting $2.9 million, or $1,880 per square foot.

What kind of a discount would they get for buying internally?

Those prices are braindead. These unit are not worth even half that money. I won't have sympathy when the prices eventually crash and people like this will give interviewed how they were tricked into buying...
