the fact that it is an alleyway thropugh me off - it looks like a street with the cars parked and the snow...

What a success Harbour Green Park is eh? It's probably one of my favorite places to chill in the summer. You can sit on a bench under trees overlooking the harbour/stanleypark/mountains/floatplanes/ships. As well there always seems to be a steady flow of tourists walking by, as well as plenty of hot yoga pant wearing girls.

i wish i could find it again

but damn if there isn't nearly 100 pages of "vancouver" added to flickr since i last looked 60 of those for the chinese parade alone

Is that a fountain to the right of the photo? That's got to be at least 100 ft high. I don't remember seeing that before...? Looks like the fountains in the lake in Geneva or Zurich.

that gathering is for the International jazz fest. they always have a stage at david lam park.

the water spout is some kind of fire hydrant thing. they have it go off every now and then in the summer. not sure what its exact use is though..
