The # of gamblers who come to Las Vegas to gamble has fallen to about 25%. The baby boom generation were more the gamblers, who are now dying out, and the milennials are not gamblers. They'd rather blow their money on the multi-million dollar disco's, Hakasan charging $50 admittance on Fri. nights, and the drink prices are out of sight!
If there was some big money to be made from gambling, you can well believe that this Resorts World project would have been completed 2-3 years ago!
I have lingering doubts whether or not this project will ever get completed!
I have more faith in the Alon project further south, as they've already done sight work there in preparation for construction, and I think this project is the type of projects you'll see in the future in Las Vegas, mega hotel projects a thing of the past!
Alon will only have 1100 rooms, in 2 towers of 17 and 26 stories.
Ah! I caught that!
Anyone else? 1+7=8, 2+6=8.
Geared to the Asians/Chinese, 8 being their lucky, favorite number! 4's? The number they despise! Small wonder you don't see 4's among the elevator buttons at the Palazzo, and Wynn hotels, they've been removed! Note: after 39, the next number is 50!
