I can do once a week unless there is a major change all of a sudden. Generally there isn't a whole lot of progress from one day to the next.

Still no sign of where it's eventually going to be put up

Looks like it will go in that steel framed box to the south and west of the southern most elevator core and in front of the mobile yellow crane in the image.

That or like someone else suggested, on top of the steal beams that were put up on the southwest corner of the shafts this week. We should have a bet going to where the crane is going to go!

"Stretch of Fort Street closed over the weekend

08/17/2018 11:38 AM
Northbound Fort Street from St. Mary Avenue to Portage Avenue will be closed from 7 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 18 until midnight on Sunday, Aug.19 for the installation of a tower crane, the city says.
The city suggests motorists, cyclists and pedestrians use different routes.
For information about bus re-routing, the city says to visit its website or call 311."

300_main In case you missed it- Graham between Fort and Main is completely closed off, less a bit of room for the fantastic #WinnipegTransit drivers. And yes, the construction crew is working well into the evening to get the job done!

If you go west over the Provencher bridge you can see two cranes, like bookends. The other is the Richardson Centre. Makes your heart do a little tap dance.
