Modern*future*design*skyscrapers

New thread,new designs and new ideas.Will try and keep this thread for all my stuff,mainly for indivdual buildings plus other designs.My sketch up skills have improved over the last year and its time to develope more complex and cleaner designs....over all this thread will be more glossy but will have some experimentation and more mixed-multimedia...
....thats the plan so i will begin with the pod series

four appartments per pod all residential....48 in total
,base contains 3 retail units...

ya sticking with this thread,cant help it that i keep changing my mind all the time.Too many ideas flowing through my head...btw b.mod is finished...red pod under construction ...........plus experimenting with rounded facades...heres an example ...this building is fat!!

inspiration from swedish twistn tower

That resipod looks really good! Keeps in line with you other great visions. What especially catches my eye in the render is the reflection on concrete. That looks really good!

These are really good!Also are these suppoesed to be real?Because how can a steel rod keep all that wait without a base or am I missing something?

Excellent, really impressive.
You must be bursting with ideas!
The renders are great as well, can you tell me what renderer you use plus do you do anything in Photoshop afterwards?

birdaldo:use kerkythea,all i do is add a bit of reflection,add sky and render in current setting....thats all...i dont bother with anything else...i dont have photoshop but i use picasa3 for basic stuff and adding text and gimp which is like photoshop[both are free]...

mocholate:far out man.

kerky bout a few months,renders are souped up mainly in picasa3 and gimp2...skyline pic..

some of those futuristic buildings are really good. You should consider joining the INFINITY QUEST FOR EARTH community and contribute. They are in dire need of futuristic skyscraper modelllers.

ya cheers,had a look at that site and saw some pretty cool modeling...a lot of space stuff and some deadly cities,lot of the stuff is of high quality plus i will prob join...must take a closer look
