Great!
I have been to Philadelphia two times. Some looks familiar some does not. It looks like I need to plan a third trip.
One strange thing is those victorian row houses that were covered up with siding including angled siding to cover the cornice; they need to rip that stuff off.

Be sure not to piss off those rude Philadelphians. Something might drop on your head.
I believe that shot was 20th street or something like that, just north of downtown.

Thats the corner of 16th and green, exactly where I live! Im in the apartment building not pictured on the northwest corner, thats the northeast corner where that house is. Knew someone who lived in it, dope ass 3rd floor with like 16 foot ceilings.

Evergrey, the houses still standing will remain standing (except for one). Air conditioners mean 'someone lives here'. NTI, yes, has made it fresh.

One of the lively black locals VZ mentioned looked quite angry. I hope someone pacified him with a cheeseburger.

Outstanding photos Colday. You really got around and gave a good sampling of the city.

No clue. It was off of Germantown Ave, though.

Very nice.

However: I hate the Cira Center at night. Hate it hate it hate it. T-A-C-K-Y.

Cirrus, I agree with you on both counts. Cira Centre has become one of my favorite buildings in the city during the day but I depise it to my core at night. What a way to ruin a fantastic structure.

And that is an amazing shot of the Victory Building. It's long been a sentimental favorite of mine. In the early to mid nineties myt mother had an apartment near it and I'd pass it all the time. Back then it was abandoned and I somewhere have photos of it in ruins, with trees growing out of the uppermost windows. I am so glad it was finally rehabbed.

^The Victory Building was the poster child of Center City Blight. That's another big postive for Philly...most of CC's blight has vanished.
