Soil Conditions in Ottawa

Does anybody know if there is an online resource specifying the type and condition of soil throughout Ottawa? Specifically, I am looking to predict what the conditions are around my home for a future project.

Will one of the Ontario geology maps help? They have a section for Upper Ottawa Valley but I don’t remember which one. It’s a giant PDF too.

Maybe?

Can't say I'm an expert on knowing what I'm looking for (or even interpreting the information I find). The area I'm interested about is around Mooney's Bay.

Couple resources that could help:

https://library.carleton.ca/find/gis...geology-ottawa

and

We bought a lot in Vars a few years back. Only place we could afford. Hoping to build within 3 years but crazy material prices are quite an impediment to that dream. It's the one little corner with bedrock in the rural east. Score!

Lots of marine clays in Ottawa, as we used to be 500 ft below the Champlain Sea.
