There comes a time when you stop running in to hot goalies, and realize you just suck.

So will the coaching staff be cleared out this summer along with the deadwood UFAs?

Vancouver beats Avs in overtime! 99 points. And today clinch playoff spot and division title thanks to a Calgary loss.

I guess that's why we saw all the frustration in Vancouver last June... Must be hard never to win a cup, come oh so close, but fail... Burn the city down!

Judging by your posts and general demeanor, it seems like you live with that frustration every waking second of your life.

I'm not sure why you Alberta folk keep going on with the riot thing considering Edmonton had a hockey riot in 2006, and this after winning no less, imagine if they had lost that game.

And Calgary has had riots too. One riot took place at, of all things, a Stampede Wrestling event, which is of course fake. This riot has to be at the top of the dumbness scale.

Anyways, leaving the attempted personal insults to the folks above...

Who thinks Eberle should be nominated for the Lady Byng trophy this year?

Translation - "Oh, Edmonton had a riot too. Shit, what do I do... I know, let's change the subject!"

Edmonton's "riot" was no where close to what happened in Vancouver in 94 or 2011. Oh shit.

Edmonton also had a riot in 2001 on Canada Day. You inject 100 000 people into these smaller Edmonton riots and you're going to have just as big a gong show as we had in Vancouver. There's no denying Alberta's capability of rioting, so your best move is to change the subject or run away.

Enough riot talk, The Oilers suck and Vancouver looted half the stores on Granville, can we move on now?

Flames very last chance is tonight (though it looks like they are going to fall just short even if they win every game remaining), if Dallas wins I think that will pretty much be the final nail in the coffin for this season, then it's time to lose some dead weight.

Great news about QC getting an arena, I wonder if they would consider moving Phoenix to QC while the new arena is under construction, the Colisee can't be that far out of NHL shape.
