You know it's a recession when...

Signs like this one appear on the streets of Ottawa!

Entrepreneuship at its best. Professor Juan-Ramon Villaruel will walk you through the steps. Once we're done, they'll be dropping like flies for you, eh?

(if anyone remembers the movie Cruising Bar, the opening scene is exactly like that: a shy guy is getting lessons on approaching women from an Italian "teacher" - one of the funniest scenes in Quebec cinema!)

As a geek, I remember more that same guy getting stuck in the bus door, and afterwards the metro

Man, why aren't all of those tags torn off?

At least one guy will be getting lucky.

Women are all prostitutes, it's just the amount given to them and the exclusivity that's different.

Now there's a piece of philosophy to ponder.

I'll have to tell my wife that one.

Then look for a new apartment.

And then take that course to find a new wife. Hey, maybe it's d_jeffrey who teaches it!

Well the site it refers to is run by a guy named 'John' who seems to call himself (or be called) 'the King'...

It'll set you back ~$40US for the book, in case you're wondering.

And no, even if it's my name, it's not me. My course I charge $60.

I bet the class just consists of telling guys to get as drunk as possible and then go to a bar. And then play it by ear...

I was pretty young when I saw “Cruising Bar” and was quite traumatized at the end of the movie when the main character (in his geeky incarnation) was chased around by the husky bearded guy in leather and chains, and then they ended up in his candle-lit love nest where the four huge bedposts were in the shape of... well, you know.

I hope there aren't many women reading this, or I wouldn't want to be in your shoes.
