320,000+ and counting with Sim City 4.

I just got the game a while back, and I'm on the starting map of Timbuktu. Though I did clear out the tutorial sites and stuff. My downtown region is called Utopia Planitia with a core population of around 210,000~.

3 million plus a metro of 10. It was a beautiful looking city too.

Lost it in a HDD failure.

On Sim City 3 Unlimited I had a radiant metropolis of 2,2 million. Complete with skyscrapers, massive LRT and subway systems and low crime and heathy aura all around. And I don't use cheats.

Now I've just started Sim City 4 and all my Sim 3 skills are useless. Furthermore, how can you have more than 100 000 people in a city anymore, the maps in Sim 4 are so small??? And you can only chose the ones from the map!!! Oh and it lags like shit, and I have a G5!

My largest city was a little over 124,000 people. Not so big but I don't play it that often. My region was over 300,000 people.

I have been looking for the spaghetti junction and can't find it. I want it...I need it. Where did you get that.

i reached over 1 million (no cheats), but somehow could never get the freaking main train station nor the space port. and my environmental record was awful. traffic was pretty bad (although my mass transit network was enormous). i eventually deleted it because nothing happened anymore (no more special gifts, etc.) and it was more like work than play...now i'm building a much more liveable city with more space and green ...actually i just started playing a game called Black & White and i may never play again...

there's a bug with the main train station; you can't get it...unless you use "You Don't Deserve it" cheat, which unlocks all the rewards and stuff.

Being huge fan first of SimCity, then SC2000, then SC3000; SC4 has been a profound disappointment.

Far too much micromanaging, and quite frankly, the graphics are second-rate. A memory hog, with few redeaming features. Back to SC3000....

micromanaging...i didn't like it at first but now i like it, especially with transportation, SC4+Rush Hour plays like a model railroad. if it weren't for the simtropolis BATs, i probably wouldn't like SC4 that much. they also help make micromanaging a lot smoother. so i love SC4, although before Rush Hour came out, i'd gone back to SC3K.

Just started playing SC4rh this weekend. Currently I have two cities one at about 50,000 and one at 92,000. SC2 skills seem to transfer pretty well.
