You could have said New York, Chicago or pretty much any city. You chose Bangkok of all places. Who knows. I just don't see the Asian influences in Toronto's "boxy" modernism .

Considering how cold it is and will be tomorrow, these guys are moving fast.

Maybe transplants from Edmonton?

Teahouse Condo - 174 meters excavation

Putting some Hoopies on the subway tunnel, I guess to protect from the elements

Excitement! As a crowd assembles to watch.

It's kind of neat how 88 Scott stands all alone with nothing else around it ... at least in this shot.

It is a couple blocks from the nearest skyscraper on the west side of Yonge. It'll probably remain that way for a very long time too.

88 Scott is ~100 metres from 1 King W (176 m), ~140 metres from Bay-Wellington (208m) and ~200 metres from both Commerce Court W (239m) and L Tower (205m).

In Cal's first photo, the clock tower to the left of FIVE, Halo on Yonge, just got chopped down to 131 metres from 153...

The redesigned Halo is a little on the bland side but, not too bad. The incorporated heritage component look plain stupid now.

E - Condo is going to be a huge thing at Yonge and Eglinton.

It seems as if Yonge and Eglinton can't become a part of downtown, it will make itself into its own huge downtown.

E condos Update! (Yesterday)

Was in the area yesterday and I'm noticing E Condos is getting taller, the north rental tower is on it's 4th floor and the taller south tower is well underway. Also, note the elevator near the corner of the south tower closest to Yonge and Eglinton:
