Apparently that horrible currency exchange + parking lot at 123 W Chicago Avenue is for sale. Would love to see a nice development there to go along with all of the other changes in the area. Doesn't necessarily have to be a highrise, but please no drive-through banks.

But were it to be combined with the lot next door to the west, you could see something more substantial.

The building next door was recently up for sale if I remember correctly. Handsome building but probably short for this world.

I think you're thinking of the currency exchange on East Chicago. 123 W Chicago is holding the SE corner of Lasalle and Chicago and not adjacent to anything likely to change anytime soon. The lot is also big enough to do something interesting, though not enormous, with.
