Shouldn't be affected as this parcel is north of the park.

There is no shadowing law there, as it is north.

Edit:beat by everyone.

From what I'm hearing the demolition of the Mawyer building is dramatically behind schedule causing delays to the shoring work.

Even that "Gateway" site (3 blocks south of park) can accommodate something in the ~250-300~m range without causing much shadow there. In fact, basically the entire stretch from 4th st to 8th st on the south sive of 9th ave can go as tall as site limitations allow. Something sleek and spirey would be nice there... maybe residential or hotel on the upper floors even... with retail frontage on 4th Street.

Let's put a new tallest there, and then build something 300m+ on the Imperial site!

3 drills here now, most of the site looks to be down to P1 already.

Have they drilled the east side where the Maywer building was? When I left Thursday they hadn't, they were still pulling parts of the basement walls out.

I'll have a look when I'm back in the office tomorrow and will post

The last of the drills was disassembled today, we should see excavation speed up now I would think.

Also semi-related to this project they have started prep work for the +15 to watermark tower during the lobby renovations there.
