Paris, Berlin, Amsterdam, Bruges, and Brussels

My wife and I traveled to Europe for two weeks in May. My in-laws joined us in Paris and then we stayed with friends in Berlin.

PARIS

View from our Airbnb. We had a really nice two bedroom apartment in Le Marais neighborhood in Paris.

Velib!

Canard!

The Rodin musuem.

BERLIN

Delicious doner kabob.

A fantastic beer garden that we spent several hours at one afternoon.

When visiting Germany, why not enjoy more beer?

Curry wurst.

AMSTERDAM

I wish we had a biking culture like this in the U.S.

We spent an afternoon visiting the Keukenhof gardens. We were fortunate that there were still many tulips in bloom. I highly recommend visiting. The gardens were spectacular.

En-route to Bruges

BRUGES

We enjoyed several great Belgian beers.

BRUSSELS

Plus, lobster is expensive, isn't it? And again, their way to cook this kind of sea food is too barbaric.

In fact, I'll confess I admire vegans for their respect for living things. I've had a feeling they're the most evolved of us, but I'm not any of them either, because duck thighs above taste very good. It's too tempting as sin!
