For Genius people there is no word to be written, just seeing... It is like an art museum, with Salvador D'ali, Van Gogh, etc. people stay around just appreciating... There is no so much discussions, only calm atmosphere...

Woah it took me ages to find this thread buried. Decided to bump, I may add some Chrysler updates ASAP. Did some changes recently; I'm now on the spire section.

@ward12, took me a while to do it! LOL. So sorry for the late reply though, my apologies for not checking back this thread!

I admit, it's been a while since I been to SSP.

Good, Stefan, thank you!

We are hoping to have them back by the end of the month. Dylan is working hard to have everything ready by then.

Good to hear, I hope the section will be ready then.
Here's where I am right now. This is just half of the original size of the Chrysler I am drawing. I'll be splitting in different parts by tomorrow to see the actual 100% detail.

The spire has been redrawn 5 times. I redrew it again and again and again to perfect it. This is my 6th take.

I know we're not allowed to show any drawings more than 1:4, but I added copyright logos across the entire image, so that no one can steal and use them. Transparency is added to the texts and I think that makes almost impossible to remove. Also, the JPG is highly compressed so the quality is vastly reduced. I hope this is acceptable.

Enjoy.

Unfortunately the base is a little bit not too ready yet due to a lack of photographs. The net has too many photos of the top.
LOL anyway if anyone has pics of Chrysler's base (High res ones preferably, so I can look into detail) please PM me.

Actual size of drawing is 40:1. This preview is scaled down to ~20:1 to reduce bandwidth.

Wow, i'm speechless.

That is the most amazing thing i've ever seen on this website.
Nothing I say here can covey how utterly impressed I am with that drawing.

Haha, thanks alot guys! Yep, the spire is a real deal here. Had to get it all fixed up, I'm now having slight problems with the tiling, need to align them vertically to the top, art deco "arrow" elements. Will update here when I get 2/8 spire setbacks finished.

Thanks all.... Very appreciated. I will also show 1:1 segments here one day to get a good feel of the detail.
