The peak is about 60 miles from Downtown by air, or probably 80(?) by bus/car. Not sure what bus options there are. It's worth going but a long way.

that Is Mt Rainier. It is about 65 miles from Seattle. that pic was probably taken last summer. At this time of year, there would be considerably more snow up there than this pic shows.

Thanks, didn't realize it was Mt. Rainier. Might be a bit of a hike as I won't have a car.
