G-Vegas looks like Columbia's little brother from this angle. i wish Cola had an aerial showing developments like this.

I wonder if RT might be hinting at something for that site and who is Tim?

Oh yeah, I forgot to say that the Pinnacle on Main is scheduled to start sometime in September according to an email I got from Triangle Construction Company.

Just hinting that Greenville County needs to ask for and entertain proposals for such a huge mixed-use development here at University Ridge.

Tim is NYTransplant, Jacob.

RiverPlace is moving along quite well. Here are a few updates from earlier today:

The left side of the base of the centerpiece fountain is painted for fun. It will be great to see people of all ages enjoying the bursts of water and sounds of a steam locomotive.

The lamp posts are finally up along the riverwalk!

I especially like the ones under the Main Street Bridge:

Actually a mixed-use development is coming to county square, but only for a part of the parking lot at the present time. Hopefully that changes though. Oh, whatever happened to NYTransplant. He never gets on UP anymore. Please give credit for the photos of Greenville to Tim/NYTransplant too, thanks.

I thought is looked funny at first as well, but after standing there for several minutes, it rather grew on me.

At least it still looks great from across the Reedy River!
The Terrace at RiverPlace is really coming along as well.

Great pics, Skyliner. One of my mom's friends from church is one of the 14 artists chosen to have a studio at the Art Crossing at Riverplace and we went to the grand opening last night. This is something great for Greenville and they should be very proud of it, which i'm sure they definitely are.

I know a few of the artists as well, including the one who designed the logo on the 'Art Crossing' sign out front. I was there last night as well. Great to see so many come out, though next weekend will probably see more visitors.

I must say a lot of my COPYRIGHTED photos keep ending up in places where I don't expect to find them, too. :-P You should check out the Terms of Service at PhotoBucket, in particular Section 2, Article C. In the mean time, I am looking at Section 5, myself.
I apologize for you using your photos, RT without permission and I won't do it again.

it's not cool (or legal) to jack (especially to alter) other people's photos without asking, or unless they give your permission.

Yea, that angle does look great!! The other one of the train tracks will look better once its underwater, I hope. It just looks, well, hokey.
