Man, I didn't really follow what happened there, and the new Ryerson building looks cool and all, but I feel like the Sam's neon records should have had heritage designation.

Aura is coming along nicely but the cladding is weird. The intensification along this stretch will be great!

I'm a little mixed on the cladding too, but will hold off on final judgement until we see the final product. Sometimes finished balconies make a big difference in how the facade as a total composition works or doesn't work. But the darker spandrel glass kinda bothers me.

Finally eclipsed the ol' chelsea. Apparently, that hotel is proposing a serious makeover which includes a much deserved re-clad.

Just walked by this construction site. Boy is it a beast, and from what I could count, only on floor 22. It's truly going to be game changer once completed.

I also got a good first-hand look at the cladding. It doesn't look so bad up close. But I do have the feeling that I will need to see it on at least another 20 floors before I can truly determine how good it looks.

I love this! Thank you and God Bless Ohio!!

Same here. Good or bad I'm always interested in hearing how the rest of the world views our buildings. Of course, the complimentary comments are all the more memorable.

Funny enough, about half the people at UT are not particularly pleased with Aura, or they have no opinion.

This is a case of us being spoiled.

If there was no construction in Toronto, like a lot of US Cities, we'd be happy for the littlest or ugliest scrap of whatever that went up. But now we are getting so much stuff built here, people act like douchebags. ( they think we are superior, and want shit that is going up in London, and New York to be built here)

We ain't rich like that yet!
