Wood louvers made of ash.
So what you're saying is the inside is different from the outside?

I can't make any comment about any of the wood (or wood like products) used on the inside of the building-----since I wasn't allowed in; the photos look like real wood, especially the oak pavers, but I've was fooled by photos before. All I can say, and with great certainty, is the 'wood' I made mention to a couple posts ago, is in no way wood. (unless the core is wood fiber wrapped with vinyl)
I don't think this will matter to many people at all, and even thought I hate fake wood in all its forms, overall I think this is a very good, if not great building,----which is still under construction.
As I understand it, the vinyl wrapping of whatever the product is that's used on the outside of CIRC, is basically a photograph of wood, or a digital representation of wood, printed on thin vinyl sheets, which are then wrapped around the core material. It just as easily could have been a photo of a sandy beach or Brian Roberts or anything. But then it wouldn't appear to be wood.
