Was at the presentation centre a few days back. Smallest unit (520sqft) starts at 380k for 5th floor, all the way to 470k for 20th floor. 2 smallest units (A1 & A2) do not come with parking...

They've also told me that anything below 10th floor are hold up and sold to their employees. So public price won't be starting at 388k, more like 420k.

Not sure if this is true, but each floor will cost 3k to 5k more depending on the unit size...
This is not for sale yet, you go in and just sign up for your 1st, 2nd, and 3rd choice. They claim that this will be a "lottery" system for picking who gets to buy...

Staff round even at MLA/MAC isn't that attractive from what I understand but there will be true VIP round and all the early buyers with request forms too.

Like iPhones, staff can't buy before customers in this case. It seems like Thind is pretty strict.

Put in a lots of forms for my clients and this is a bit of an in-house project for us. Any more information pls PM me. Sales should start early June.

Not sure what is happening with this developer but it seems like they are messing up even before they are starting to build. Delay after delay and many problems happening already. I wouldn't buy anything from Thind until they have built a few more highrises. I would stick to the big guys for now until Thind shows they can play with the tried and tested big boys in town.

I spied a crane going up in that area earlier this afternoon. (Sorry, I do not have a picture)
I saw it from the Brentwood Mall carpark across Lougheed Hwy. (Pretty far away)

The crane was going up right next to the Milano Tower.
... Could mean construction is starting earnestly for this project.

Crane going up before any excavation for foundation has actually happened?
Seems implausible.

Unless I missed seeing any updates with excavation and site prep. pictures.

Typically it takes a while after actual construction proper(i.e. pouring of foundation and basement parking concrete) has began before you'll see a crane being erected.

There wouldn't be much excavation - swamp land.

You are right about that.

However, there is a new crane not too far from Milano. Perhaps another project???
I will go there on a non-rainy day and see if I can take a picture of the signs on the fence to find out for sure.

Okay that makes sense.

I had forgotten about that, and besides which I hadn't seen any updates at all from this project so I wasn't sure how far along it had gone since site prep.

But from the photo above it looks like they're way past excavation and are laying the footing, hence the crane getting set up.

No underground parking or basement means a (relatively) much more accelerated schedule compared to projects that have multi-basement levels and which typically take up a huge chunk of the project timeline.

I believe that's the first photo (and photographic update) for the project since the first page of this thread..

It's really gone under the radar.
