With a name like habsfanmann... it could just as likely be because the hab's are playing like the shit they are these days.

whatever. He needs to behave himself.

No one ever says anything bad about Montreal. But Toronto gets kicked around like a tin can.

Major snowstorm in Toronto has really slowed construction down this week. Should only be another 3 weeks of really bad weather, before we get into more springtime temps.

Burano looks like it blocks the other buildings from sight when observed from the same location for taking pictures...what's that other tall building going up that looks like it's almost across the street on the right in that last pic?

This is a neat building, with the angles of the tower and the heritage building podium. Plus it's tall, and will stand in a dense neighbourhood.

and take a closer look at the landmark artwork hanging behind the glass. Its creator is Sandro Martini of Milan.

If we turn to the left we take in the view down Bay Street, and get a look at the intersection of the modern podium and the restored facade of the 1925-built McLaughlin Motors Building.

At the south end of the complex we see the tower rising over the restored McLaughlin Motors Building, now acting as a retail podium.

This close-up gives us a better look at the detail of the restoration.
