That is an awesome view. Not only does it showcase the light and bright colored stone classic designs from the 1920's and 30's, but it also somehow invokes the art deco style of South Beach Miami (plus about 20 stories or so). This part of Philly is truly one on the great urban gems.

TLP is responsible for designing the exterior lighting of the 51 story skyscraper.

TLP’s project scope includes the building crown and façade, hotel entries on Chestnut Street and the terrace on level seven. The exterior design will include strips of dynamic white LED lights embedded in the tower’s façade, which, at times, will have a cascading effect. The building’s crown was designed to resemble the cliffs along the Schuylkill River in Fairmont Park."

"After the Philadelphia Eagles won the 2018 Super Bowl, the owner decided that the system should have color-changing capability to tap into the energy of the city. The hotel will join Philadelphia’s other skyline buildings with colors for special celebrations and seasonal displays. TLP updated the sparkling fixtures to RGBW to give the owner this capability."

Speaking of crown lighting. It kind of looks like they are installing an LED board on top of the new Aramark HQ on the river. It's a weird black ribbon that is being built across the top to hide the HVAC and mechanical components, looks to be almost a story tall. Would be pretty cool to have this lit up at night, would provide a pretty cool cosmo feel along the river for arriving passengers from 30th. Anyone know if this is what's happening?
