I prefer the Jenga Tower to the First Baptist Church Tower. Also what's up with the podium for First Baptist Church?

I was out in Vancouver and managed to attend the open house, the podium is still being refined. Architect told me it was possible it become part of the art contribution, which could mean some cool changes to come.

Someone pointed out, I can't remember who, that the podiums have very tall floors, possibly office. That might explain part of the extra height...

Just hope it turns out like the rendering. I'm not particularly fond of the one tower that looks like two point towers concept. I think it will look even worse in 3D.

Cool, I do like the tower, it's not my kind of style at all but I appreciate it for what it is. The Jenga Tower will be my favorite building in Vancouver. One that would look good in any city.

Hey Koops can you give us a breakdown of the new Toronto towers? The only one I know of for sure is the 220 meter /160 meter twin tower project on Yonge street at the Marriott.

This is most definitely an all of Canada thread...

Right up near the top of the list (top 17) are Toronto, Quebec City, Calgary and Edmonton.

If we limit ourselves to Built and U/C, in the top 19 are Toronto, Edmonton and Calgary.

That's my fault then... I'm terrible at reading emotions online.

I made a drawing of 771 Yonge: http://skyscraperpage.com/cities/?buildingID=108394
Toronto diagram: http://skyscraperpage.com/diagrams/?searchID=72384203 on page 4
