Don't get my hopes up, I've been waiting a long time to see the crane go up.

Worker from Marwest told me yesterday that the whole structure will start to rise up mid September.

The construction people have the no right turn sign up at Main and Graham. Most drivers ignore it and turn. The water supply construction on Graham has not worked out so now they will rip up the new pavement on Fort. Typical city.

Only two or three weeks left to wait. The crane is going up on that elevator shaft. They will still close 2 lanes of Graham so you have to go the long way around, down Fort, to access WS parking.

Yeah. WTF is the hold up!? We're all getting anxious for a crane erection here!

I can only report what the workers tell me. And if I remember it was A crane, and not THE crane. You need A crane set up before you can set up THE crane.

THE crane requires quite a substantial amount of structure in place to form it's base/foundation. I am not sure where that column is being formed, but if it is along Graham near the centre of the building, it's likely the start of the base construction for THE crane.

It's being anchored to the elevator shaft.

Do you know if they will have a live construction camera?

I noticed the SSP diagrams have the building at around 152m, but here it’s listed as possibly being 142m

Will it break 150m? I know they are making it as tall as they can, what is structurally possible, but just curious how accurate the diagram will end up being

It would be nice to get confirmation on exact height.

And no construction cam I’m aware of.

The height has been confirmed here, by me, a couple times. Taken directly from the set of drawings they are using to build it.

So consider it confirmed.

Thanks drew, is the building 40 or 42 floors?

It's interesting that the first column coming out of the roof is also the one column that has been expanded to 60 inches in diameter. All the other columns are a foot or two feet smaller in diameter. Why that one column?
