Lightbox is very Jekyll and Hyde. It seems more Hyde in those photos.

Question: Does this building incorporate retail into the ground level? Does the building front the sidewalk directly?

I dont mind the trickery with this building, if it's good enough for the Ritz in Vancouver its more than good enough for Crapburg.

Actually, I wouldn't mind if this thing was even built in Toronto. It's hot!!

The balconies are moving along quickly now, they finish off the building brilliantly. Below, the south & east sides, east & north sides, east side, south side and south & west sides respectively.

Lobby glass from behind fencing. I can't wait for the hoarding and fences to come down to get an unobstructed view of the lobby.

The towns. Interestingly they've poured a concrete slab in front of them, I'm not quite sure for or why. Time will tell.

HOLY CRAP!... Telus' tower's base looks wicked and clean!... like a brand new Telus store in a mall!... I wish it was an Apple store...

Festival is gettin SOOO tall now

Not a huge fan of X but it's surely better than nothing!!! (the area was so low profile before he/she came in... -TWSS! )

I plan to get some updates on X later on today (if it doesn't get dark on me like last time )

X's glass is the clearest glass I've seen on a Toronto residential highrise in a long time. I'm curious how this will translate once occupation has commenced.

Speaking of X...

I've created another meaning for FTW... F*** The Weather

I managed to bring my camera today and snap some shots of X and other projects... It was DARK by the time i got there!... So all the shots turned out really unclear and dark.. oh well... FTW!

Again, sorry for the poor image quality... If anyone knows how to take good (high res) night shots, tell me

I have more pics that will be posted on other threads

I dunno, I have the same problem as well. It must be our cameras.

What kind of camera do you need to get high resolution nighttime shots? I would love to know.

I use a point and shoot (i think it is most common)...

To get HQ night shots... I think you'll need a DSLR (the black ones with the larger lenses)... Point and shoots get the job done during the day...

*I think there are settings on your camera to get better night shots but my camera is really complex... I'm still finding my way around it

There's a guy on UT named Redroom Studios... he should know cause ALL his photos are amazing!... Check out his shots (esp. night shots) on Flickr..

Actually, now that you mentioned it, I just started toying around with my camera and found out how to get it set for night scenes. I'll definitely be taking advantage of that sometime within the next week.

We'll see what I can come up with for some nighttime cityscapes!

steveve thanks for the updates.. it's hard to take pictures in the dark with a point and shoot. And specifically at great distance.
