I assume when 700 Delaware is built they will enlarge the intersection of Brown St. & Delaware Ave. to include Brown St. with a traffic light. Otherwise good luck getting out of there!

anyone else think it would be a good idea to reduce delaware ave down to 4 lanes? there's no need for it to be so wide with 95 carrying all the 'express' north-south traffic. it's such a bitch to cross. 4 lanes of traffic, two trolley tracks on a reserved median in the middle, ideally.

Love that pic of the row house above. Those cranes look like turret guns protecting the residents from future development. Perhaps that is a secret base for NIMBY's?

Swinefeld, I had been thinking that already. I also thought about starting a 700 Delaware thread but I wasn't sure if it was appropriate being they are no where breaking ground for this project. It just happens to be right across the street from WFS. At least in most of the pics about 700 Delaware there are the WFS cranes towers going up in the background. If/When this oroject breaks ground, you know one of us will start a thread!

They are putting the facing on the building. Right now about three floors on the south side (tall building). Its real facing. Looks pretty cool. At least they didn't paint it.

Weds June 8th. From the back seat of a car with a dirty windshield, on the way to AC at 7:30am. We should have taken 295, but I wasn't driving, and I don't mind sitting in traffic and looking at the skyline.

Huh? That look like the long awaited set back to you? Huh? Huh? Does it?

(I think it does.)

Ah ah, set back, set back, ah ah.

Is the one further along under construction 1/4 of the way up, or 1/3? I need to pay more attention.

Depending on where the ground floor is located I counted about 19 floors on Friday. So that's about 2/3 complete.

The wall panels that are being placed on the south face of the larger tower are going up fast. They are up on at least 12 floors in that area of the tower. They look like a stucco surface with a brick edge that will look like stripes between each floor. I was surprised how thick the panels look.

2nd picture is great.

Looks like they're having a traffic problem in the first picture. (very bottom - four cars in a row in a 3 lane highway)

Sunday drivers.
