^ Congrats to your personal Flickr account. You've been taking inspiring pictures.

I never saw anything as dry looking as this thing in Namibia for real. Even the desert in the southwestern United States must be thriving with wildlife compared to this...

It is quite scary. And people here still complain about the fact that all Africans are dreaming about migration to Europe.
No wonder when they witness desertification and creepy death gradually nibbling their fertile lands.

Actually the Namib desert IS thriving with wildlife. And Namibia always happened to be one of the driest places in the world - thus also the second lowest population density of any country (after Mongolia).
