With the exception of Lloyd Center itself I don't really mind any of the buildings in Lloyd, they seem to be reasonable examples of the architecture of their time. With some newer towers built around them they will provide some contrast and make the area less sterile.

(picture from Dougall)

This is, IMO, one of the worst buildings, if not THE worst in downtown Portland. This could use re-cladding but I'd rather see this torn down completely.

Teal paint, are you serious?!

I doubt if it comes down. I think it is subsidized housing...

I'm a fan of the Rose Garden arena but I wish the exterior wasn't so solid. Paul Allen probably wont do too much to the exterior, but I think it would look great if there were more glass, a modern twist to the Coliseum like the arena in Kansas City:

^^^That is a sweet arena. Unfortunately, I can't see paul putting any money in to the exterior of the rose garden. Now the surroundings of the RQ, thats a different story. Something needs to be done there.

I've wondered if it would be profitable to replace the two small parking garages with a huge underground garage and a couple towers, maybe hotel, there on Broadway.
