If you'd followed someone123's "Source" link right below the pic, you'd know that he was:

Jason Li had already been arrested earlier today. For those thinking that there will be jail or serious consequences, consider our court system. He’s already been released from police custody presumably to await a court appearance. Our courts are backed up with waits lasting months. Jason Li is in the Air Cadets and has plans to attend UBC in the fall. Time will tell what the future may bring for our zero Jason Li. Captain Vancouver praises the real hero’s of the 16th for coming out to clean up the mess left behind by the zero’s of yesterday.

No idea what consequences he suffered in the end, but I think it wouldn't have been justified to wreck his life for this one lapse in judgment, so I'm okay if he got off with a slap on the wrist and fines. (He attends University of Billionaire Chinese, he surely can afford to help pay for that BMO's glass replacement. )

Would it be fickle if I could add Canadian paid-protesters to this?

There is a huge difference between a protest and a riot and Vancouver`s shameful episode was the latter. People, politicians, and corporations love to label meaningful protest as just riots to de-legitimatize them, let`s not do the same.
