As much as we love downtown, I think we often forget the other urban areas really close to downtown that are defenitely linked. This project is near oldtown and along the trolley line.

We shared the exciting news that we started construction on Stella two weeks ago so I thought it would be fun for you to see for yourself!

Check out this latest video from Eugene Marchese and our construction team.

Stella, which will set new benchmarks for residential design in San Diego, is now 13 months from reality.

If you haven’t purchased a unit yet and have been waiting for construction to commence, the time has come!

Get ready for a residential experience you deserve San Diego….Stella will be ready for move in - Spring of 2008. http://www.constellationproperty.com

Let’s talk soon,

Brian Sciutto
I visited the site while I was at work earlier today. It seemed like a misleading add. On the location link a photo came up.... with a banner pic of the San Diego skyline. On the right, where the Corando bridge was suppose to be was the Sydney opera house, a sydney bridge... and something else. I understand they indicated it was Sydney, complete with a clock, but what does Syndey have to do with San Diego? I understand the developers are from Syndey, but that doesn't do it.

Further, the site is not downtown. It's closer to Old Town.

Powder blue seems to feminie to me. I don't like that color. Never have. Navy is much more masculine.

5. Seattle, Washington
6. Henderson, Nevada
7. San Diego, California
8. San Jose, California

I personally think San Diego should be higher on this list. When I used to live downtown and even in Bankers Hill, i used to walk around all the time. And I know that I am not the only one. Now, I havent been to ALL the cities on the list, but esp. with all the residential development, San Diego is becoming even more walkable than it already is.

So, are the Chargers building something resembling a structure? Maybe a stadium? It's lost on me why this subject is discussed here? Are we that bored and hard-up for development news that we're turning to uniform designs?

I like the new Chargers' unis, I think the white helmet will look real retro and cool; now if we could just do something about the bland Padres, unis.
