Crane Removed at Midtown21 Office Project

Quote:
As another round of residential and hotel projects ready to open in Seattle, so does a new office block at Stewart Street and Terry Avenue in the heart of the Denny Triangle neighbourhood. That's where developer Trammel Crow Company and joint venture partner MetLife are nearing completion on their Midtown21 development. The 20,750-square-foot site has become the home to a 21-storey Class A office tower boasting approximately 365,000 rentable square feet.

In the last picture, it's striking how much of the skyline from that direction is new buildings. It's a lot of 400-525' buildings in the foreground.

Agreed Mhays, I've been in Seattle for about 12 years now and the majority of the highrises you see from that vantage point were not there when I moved here. Crazy how much its changed.

Yes! I went to Seattle for 3 times. We really like it. We never been there before. One for 2012, and 2 for 2015. When I went to Switzerland. I flew on Delta. I have 4 hours layover. I have a friends who lived in Seattle. We went to malls near airport. We had a nice conversation. I stay there for an hours and then he take me back to airport for next international flight. That's why I have to see them.

Remember to zoom in. Drafts of course, but it could help Seattle in the density category.

Yes, and it looks pretty good.
I wished we had a skyline like that one in San Diego.

Seattle is a beautiful city.

It's cool how much that area has changed since I first visited Seattle in 2012! I look forward to my next trip in town this coming weekend to check out the latest developments. You guys seem to have a nice boom going as well!

It is flawed data... NYC has over 100 cranes right now, but the article claims only 28. Lol

That's what I was thinking. Yeah because NY has the most right now. Well, either way, I think the important message is that Seattle right now is booming, and its skyline is changing in big ways.
