For those who have purchased here, have you gotten to see your unit? I noticed a signboard the other week labeled "Homeowner Orientation".

They've started installing the railings for the curved balconies!

When I have a chance I'll try to provide some photos.

Very nice clear blue glass on the square cornered balconies. It has a clean, bright, sharp looks. Looks different and stand out from other surrounding buildings. I like it so far.

I am hoping they can make a smooth curve railing as with the landing on those curve balconies. The railing sample they have installed on the 16th floor now looks edgy.

This project is taking forever to finish. Is the green balcony glass still happening?

I imagine the green glass is still happening(?) we'll find out possibly later this week or next week I imagine. I swung by late last week and saw large tarps covering what I presume was the glass, and along Dunblane it was piled with curved railings in stacks all over.

The most notable development these past few weeks were: finished pouring the concrete sidewalks, started landscaping the green space, and installed the balcony glass on the north-east and south west corners.

I agree it has taken a while for this project to finish. If I recall construction/demolition started in late fall of 2015? The original completion for the project was set to be this Summer and is being pushed to the Fall.

I heard the new Station Squares project takes 4 years to finish from the date of selling. they are moving in the next two months. Boy, they are the most beautiful buildings in the Metrotown area. Modello too.

Here's a couple photo updates from the last couple days.

I stopped by the site earlier today, and most of the railings (for the north-west corner) have been carried up and are sitting on their respective balconies ready for installation.

Here's a link to a full-size photo for image 2: https://i.imgur.com/1OXoFxt.jpg. From the image it is more evident that the glass is green, and that the green appears to be in a dot pattern.

Photos are my own.

Thanks.
As expected, the glass looks like flat panes, so the curves will be faceted.

Not surprising and to be expected.

Curved glass panes are (relatively) way more pricier, and if you're trying to keep your units relatively sale-able, that's the route you have to go.

Although to be fair to the developer here, I believe even their renderings showed the balconies to have straight panes on those curves.

You want to see something that will not look anything like the final product in terms of the rendering to the eventual reality and curved glass/panes, look no farther than the Oakridge development.

At least they got the railing in a smooth curves. It seems like the glass is medium green and have doted matte finish pattern on them.

Progress has been quite slow installing the railings & glass. I imagine they are going to be sending out amendments regarding additional delays if people haven't already started receiving them.

I would rather see them do a good job than rush it through with an ugly balconies. In fact this is the most unique and important feature of the whole building. I am wondering where they puts all the green glass panels that was on the sidewalk weeks ago.

Coming together quite well, the balcony undulations and contrasting sharp corners work really well together.

Exactly what the suburbs need, decent design but not over the top.

Yeah, looks good.

Escala near Brentwood has a similar ledge feature, but it is barely noticeable.
