The "defined top" appears in the rendering to just be lighting at night. Side by side comparison of the two renderings shows the two to be exactly the same except for the light greenish blue color at the top. The rendering with the green color appears to be dusk or later, so I assume the color is the result of a lighting scheme.

The other crane base (there are two) is still on it's side.. not sure if they're going to raise them at the same time or not.

That shot is awesome. There are 3 buildings going up in this pic alone. How many CRANES can you see? I see five (one on the ground)

Several more pieces of the cranes (including one of the cabs) were being delivered this morning as I walked to work.

IMHO It's amazing how fast developers seem to moving along with projects in the Denver area right now, not only Downtown but every where, things no longer take "years" LOL now it's months!!!

I LOVE IT!

The pieces that came in this morning weren't for the tower crane - they were for another type of crane called a derrick crane (as I've been told). It looks just like the one at 1400 Wynkoop.
Here's some pics:

ha ha

...kind of a little dinky-doid crane. I always loved the golden book as a kid where the little steam shovel showed all the big ones he could move the boulder off the road.....

That crane is probably all that's needed for the smaller portions of this project like the parking garage. The tower crane will probably be able to reach the other towers. Like glow said, its still a crane.

The crane's getting pretty high. It looks as high as the 1500 Wynkoop crane right now.
