Los Angeles as of 5/14/16

"only" 12 murders from 4/17 to 5/14. Nice slow down and if we can have one more month like this, it will put us on pace to be even with the last couple of years.

2016 - 100 (402 shooting victims)
2015 - 93
2014 - 99

Chicago, on the other had, is pretty much out of control right now... Just posted at LA Times

http://www.latimes.com/nation/la-na-...523-story.html

Over 1400 shot already this year and 244 murders... Last year at this time, the numbers were 904 shot and 157 murdered.

You only have 7? St. Louis has 61, and Chicago has had 244 fatal shootings, but I don't know what the number of homicides are.

SF is at 17, after a fatal shooting in SOMA. A body was also found in Golden gate park, but no word yet on whether it was a murder or not.

This is most likely a drowning. We've had some pretty good steady rains these past 2 to 3 weeks.

Man’s body found in Brushy Creek, Round Rock police say - 5/26

Toronto closes out the month with 30. Not a good year for homicides, but the past two weeks have been quiet.
