Fantastic pictures, flar!

Amazing photos. Ottawa is really pretty, much more in Winter. I love your pictures. Great sharpness and beautiful colours.

Congratulations and greetings from Madrid, Spain!

Great variety of shots. I liked the occasional abstract ones. Looks pretty cold.

How should we translate the title? Something like - for every single little gesture matters - or - because each little gesture does count. Same thing, right? It might require a big language experience that I still don't have to translate both properly and confortably. Common English is known to be rather easily accessible to some extent but the literary language seems way harder to practise. You think French is tricky, huh? okay, let me quote colemonkee's signature for instance:

Then each time Fleetwood would be not so much overcome by remorse as bedazzled at having been shown the secret backlands of wealth, and how sooner or later it depended on some act of murder, seldom limited to once.

I had to read the sentence at least 3 times before it started to make some kind of sense, and I'm not sure about it yet.

Good thread as usual from flar. I'd even like their winters I think. When Montreal thrives at last, it's all fine.

Nice pictures. I'll be honest and say that some of these pictures aren't my thing, but not everything can be catered to people of my tastes. Even with this, there's a lot of pictures that are nice, like the fireworks ones.

Literal: Because (parce que) each (chaque) little (petit) gesture/act (geste) counts (compte)
A better way of saying it: Because every little bit helps

And yes, it's very cold up here. Even during this "mild" winter. Between the cold and the darkness, I've only been out taking photos on three or four occasions since December. It's been so long since I posted a thread I put these photos up even though there wasn't much to pick from. I really, really can't wait till I can go outside in comfort, without gloves, to do some serious photography.

Nice work. Captures some of the flavour of Ottawa in the winter. And you managed to make the DND buildings look good which is an impressive achievement!
