Spacebox!!!!!

This is pretty sweet if you are into modular housing and alternative living conditions....Its a prefab studio which can be attached to other units to create a whole building. Life size legos!!!! Those crazy Dutch.

The meshed-in area behind the units and the oversized fron window almost leads me to believe that this is some type of zoo habitat....

The construction overall seems to be "light-duty" and potentially too flimsy.

I actually really dig this, though I imagine that the units don't get a lot of light. Small windows on the sides, top or back would probably be a huge improvement.

these images ARE of dormitories... they're at the university of utrecht. each one is a single room with bath and sleeping loft, if i remember correctly. the mesh boxes are the exterior stairs. i have been in them and they DO, in fact, get abundant light.

Interesting design and idea, but I don't think I'd want to live in one.
