Nice pictures. I had to look up Volant. I liked that scene the most. I like NW Pennsylvania, and the Northern Tier, for the hills and mountains everywhere.
Wow I was just in East Brady yesterday taking photos. Remains of one of the oldest steel mills in western PA; circa 1835 is located right near there behind some baseball fields.

Volant is a very nice small town in the Amish country of NW PA. Most of the houses listed have nice shops in them. It's about 15 minutes from the outlets at Grove City, but seems to be a world away.

Did you get to check out the Brady's Bend Overlook, just up Route 68 from East Brady? Very nice view of the Allegheny River Valley from that spot.

I had the chance to spend some time in Mercer. Not only is it very pretty. But the folks that live there are some of the most friendly I have found anywhere in the US.
