^ Sugar Jones... there's a name I haven't heard in a while.

Maybe they'll turn Bar I into a Y2K/2000s retro joint

Actually, he more or less fell off the face of the earth after a nasty divorce from the Sugar Jones woman, I had heard. He was not active all in the industry until about 2013, and has since self produced and released (online only) some singles and a couple of albums. No major label interest by the looks of things.

I guess the whole Barley Brothers location fell through. Some sort of extensive damage to it that was taking too long to repair.

^ $18 million seems very very very high considering his one and only major release was not a particularly hot seller, his songs are almost never played anymore and really haven't been for over a decade, and I don't think he ever did any sort of major concert tour.

Part of me wonders if celebsnetworth just makes numbers up.

Yeah, dubious information at best. They lost me at "Mainly home-schooled in his indigenous Vancouver..."

Also unintentionally hilarious, check out this passage from the celebnetworth entry:

"...he begun to compose and record the tracks that would afterwards become The Method I Feel. 3 years afterwards he was agreed upon to Motown Information and the record noticed the light of time in early 2002." Pure poetry.

I don't see how this is a sensible relocation for suburban family restaurant. I don't see the fit in OV at all lol.

I read somewhere, and its repeated several other places, that character actor Peter Stormare is worth north of $200MM. A guy who people probably recognize by face and not name. So maybe Remy Shand is worth $18mm. Then again maybe someone made up some nonsense about Peter Stormare and everyone else is repeating it.

It could help fill the greasy spoon gap left when papa George’s closed. With that being said, Stella’s would have been a good fit for that spot. The spot they have across the street doesn’t exactly have the best ambiance, especially the tables out in the common area/lobby.
