Maybe we should protest. Hold up signs saying 'comcast a liar, bring the spire!'

Or "Not my Building! Literally, it's *not* my building, it's Comcast's, so I guess they can do what they want."
Not as catchy...

I hope they are staging materials and mechanicals to blitz the cooling tower area and get this show moving.

That's one of the things I personally like about this building. It will be the tallest building in the city (by spire), but it's still very bulky, making it look enormous as well. The cladding on the east and west sides also adds to this effect. I guess I just like buildings with that kind of cladding.

That's what you think. The spire has been financed by charging customers an added cost for tv remotes. Crowd funded!

^ I think that someone already suggested this, but now the spire makes me think of Comcast's giant middle finger.

I was wandering around Philadelphia yesterday because why not, and got these two pics, relatively equidistant from each other.

Are the blue things covering the metal on the outside of the building supposed to stay there in the end result? Or are they just a protective covering or something?

Protective film. You can see they've been removed on the lower floors, uncovering the stainless finish.
