Bridgeland arsons ...

Concerned citizens have Calgary police ramping up their presence in Bridgeland after an empty house was set on fire and the area vandalized late February.[]

There was a great deal of drug consumption within the house and criminal activity around the area,” McMath said. “Houses keep getting broken into, so we have some extra resources in that area to keep people from breaking in.”

"Police investigating after two people found dead"

Calgary police are investigating after two people were found dead in the city’s southeast Tuesday evening.

Police say at about 7:30 p.m., they were called to a business located at 19th Ave. by 35 St. S.E.

When officers arrived, they found two deceased people.

The police service says homicide detectives are investigating.

Officers had the parking lot of an auto service business cordoned off with crime scene tape Tuesday evening as they investigated.

More to come …

I love how our police force is so averse to giving out details. How about telling us how and why they died.

My thought is double suicide. If it was accidental like carbon monoxide poisoning I expect it would be well publicized, and what are the odds of two simultaneous medical emergency deaths.

Man - can you guys stay on topic please? Discuss non-criminal activity somewhere other than the crime thread. Maybe the watercooler thread?

Quote:
Emergency crews found three victims at the home, said EMS spokesperson Stuart Brideaux.

A woman in her mid-30s with a soft tissue injury was taken to hospital in stable condition. Two other victims, a 30-year-old woman and a woman in her mid-20s, were taken to hospital in serious, but stable condition with injuries to their faces.
Fourth victim found

Around 20 minutes after the initial report, Brideaux said EMS was called to a second location in the 6700 block of 22nd Avenue N.E. There, they found a woman in her mid-40s who had also sustained an injury at the Castleridge home.

Yeah only 6 so far this year, we've been averaging around 20 over the past decade. A Few year's even over 30.
I think where likely to finish under 20 for the 1st time in a while.
