This should to do alot for the skyline in that section of the city. I love when modern/contemporary style is juxtaposed against the existing older, bricky fabric of the city.

I wonder if the higher floors (the one's with a magnificent view of the Center City skyline) will cost more, considering this is a Dormitory, and Dorms don't usually vary in price.

I am not sure how Temple does it but at GW the price varied depending on the layout of the room and which dorm building you were in. So you might be paying $1,800 a month for a studio and the person next to you might be paying $975 a month to be in a 2 bedroom with 4 people in it. Because of this when you would request housing a lot of thought went into it because every dorm had different layouts, number of rooms in the layout you wanted, and the price could differ dramatically.

Good update.

Temples campus has come a long ways.

Still wish that high rise was built a mile or 2 to the south.Desperately Need some height E of Broad in Cente City to balance and extend the skyline. This is going to standout like a sore thumb up in N Philly.

At first yes... but only until Temple gets around to building the rest of their high rises.

They poured the 9th floor today for the highrise and they have been installing prefab concrete floor pannels for the low rise all week.

I noticed when I was at the gym yesterday that the facade has started to go up on the south side of the building at the 3rd floor. I will grab a picture tomorrow if I get a chance.
