Just saw the tower again very faintly, I wish you guys could see this view from 30 miles out, it's simply amazing. Your eyes are immediately drawn to the huge tower, and even though it's about the same height as the Empire State Building, the ESB is hard to find because it is so slender. Again, here's a photo from yesterday, I liked the text idea that Carlos did so I did the same
Other buildings in the photo: Four WTC can be seen to the right of One WTC, the extremely faint outline of the Beekman behind One WTC, the spires of AIG Building, and 40 Wall Street, One Chase Manhattan Plaza, the boxy one, and very hard to see, but the tip, and i mean the tip, of the Woolworth Building to the left of One WTC. On nights, the extreme thin lines of the roofs of 7 WTC, and Goldman Sachs (NY) can also be seen. And to the far right, not in this photo, but the hill dips down where you can see the towers of the Verrazano Bridge.
