My feet were tingly. That same exact feeling looking down from a very high area.

Started watching some, just insane.

Skip to 6:20 for the start of the good stuff.

Spotted this off a youtube clip. Epic angle. A bit older but nevertheless surreal.

Took a screenshot

Its just nuts really. Like you guys would know if I tried a maneuver like he did. You'd know because that street would be closed off, as my insides are splattered all over the windows of a nearby Sabarros. The color would be the same as their fake pepperoni.

These skyscrapers really are ruining the sunlight in the park. Somebody should bring that up.

Anyway, I really like the crown here. It's already a New York classic.

That's One Intl Plaza (750 Lex) which was developed in the late 80's (Helmut Jahn was architect).

That bldg has a ton of prime retail space, as it's across the street from the Bloomingdales flagship.

thanks. It's inexcusable for me to not have ever noticed it as many times as i've been to the city to gawk at skyscrapers.

Two condos priced at over $70M under contract at Zeckendorf’s 520 Park
The six-bedroom duplexes were on sale for between $73M and $83M

Contracts for two condominiums asking more than $70 million at Zeckendorf Development’s TRData LogoTINY 520 Park Avenue were signed in the past week.
The six-bedroom duplexes on high floors were asking between $73 million and $83 million, the Wall Street Journal reported.

...

The 34-unit building, which has a projected sellout of $1.25 billion, features a $130 million penthouse. If the unit sells at that price — and before Vornado Realty Trust’s $250 million condo at 220 Central Park South — it will be the most expensive apartment sale in New York City history. The current record is a unit that sold for $100.5 million at Extell Development’s One57.

Added to what's going on at 220 CPS, and it's clear Stern knows how to get the big fish. He'll design more of these, for sure.

I hope that's the case with the Park Lane hotel. Stern+Central Park address=massive success both aesthetically and economically. 15, 520 and 220 complement park views very well, nearly as well as the old Candelas, Roths, and Warren and Wetmores.
